The Department of Public Safety and Justice Studies' programs are focused on equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to build safe, secure, and just communities. Faculty members with strong connections to professional practice prepare students to protect and serve our communities. With programs in policing and investigations, community justice and corrections, and emergency communications and response, the department offers a variety of pathways towards a career in justice or public safety.
