The Sociology Minor is available to students in eligible degree programs. All students in the minor must complete the prerequisite course SOCI 100. In addition, students in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science must complete 18 senior-level credits, including a minimum of 9 credits at the 300- or 400-level. Students in other degree programs may use SOCI 100 in place of one 300- or 400-level SOCI course and therefore must complete 15 credits in senior-level courses, including a minimum of 3 credits at the 300- or 400-level. SOCI 496, SOCI 497, and SOCI 498 can be taken up to two times each, but cannot be used in combination more than two times to fulfill the minimum requirements of the Sociology minor.
