Computer Science Minor
The Computer Science Minor is available to students in eligible degree programs. All students in the minor must complete the prerequisite courses CMPT 101 (or equivalent) and CMPT 103. In addition, students in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science must complete 18 credits in senior-level CMPT courses, including a minimum of 6 credits at the 300- or 400-level. Students in other degree programs may use CMPT 103 in place of one 300- or 400-level CMPT course and, therefore, must complete 15 credits in senior-level CMPT courses. CMPT 310 and CMPT 311 may not be used to satisfy the 300-level requirement. Students may use DESN 240 or DESN 242 in place of CMPT 250 for the minor.
