Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education and Response
The Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education, and Response works to prevent sexual violence, foster a consent culture on campus, and support anyone impacted by sexual violence. Our efforts are based on an anti-oppressive and feminist analysis of sexual violence, and a commitment to human rights and equity.
We offer free and confidential support to anyone affected by sexual violence, whether it happened on or off campus, and no matter how recently or how long ago it happened. Our Sexual Violence Response Coordinator provides support, information, access to campus and community support services and/or reporting options.
We provide educational opportunities to the entire campus community, including Sexual Violence Awareness Week, events, trainings and workshops. We offer opportunities for student leadership in addressing sexual violence, including the MAVEN Peer Education Program and U-SOLVE (University Students Offering Leadership on Violence Elimination).
