Early Learning at MacEwan (ELM)
Growing a community of mighty learners.
Early Learning at MacEwan (ELM) is proud to offer quality, supportive child care education and services in Edmonton, for children aged 19 months through six years. Our curriculum incorporates the latest theories and practices of early childhood education and gives children the confidence and security to develop a strong sense of identity.
Our team of early childhood educators work closely with, and alongside, families to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for play, care, learning, and development. We also work closely with MacEwan's Early Learning and Child Care program, incorporating and shaping the latest theories and practices.
ELM is open year-round with the exception of a closure from December 25 to January 1, and the last week of July to the first week of August. As part of a three-year pilot program, ELM is one of 100 Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Centres across Alberta and receives funding - allowing fees to be reduced to $25 per day.
